Ercan Airport, the main gateway to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, continues to demonstrate strong growth and development. In the first half of 2025, more than 2.59 million passengers passed through its terminals, with over 17,000 flights handled.
According to data from the operator T&T, compared to the same period last year, passenger traffic increased by 18.73%, and the number of flights rose by 23.22%. This clearly reflects the growing interest in Northern Cyprus as both a tourist and business destination.
This upward trend is supported not only by the expansion of flight routes but also by the high level of comfort and service provided by Ercan Airport. Its modern and eco-friendly terminal, equipped with energy-efficient technologies, offers a pleasant and convenient environment for travelers.
These positive changes highlight the region’s development and confirm that Northern Cyprus is becoming increasingly accessible and attractive for tourists and investors alike.
