The traditional annual Christmas event, organized by the municipality of Iskele, attracted many foreign citizens this year. Proceeds from this year's Christmas event were donated to the Cancer Aid Association.
The purpose of the event is to draw attention to cancer, and dozens of people who are not afraid of the cold not only celebrated Christmas, but also supported KHYD by swimming in the sea.
Hot drinks and a Christmas cake accompanied by Christmas songs were served at the event, and participation was 50 Turkish Lira. A total of TL 6,130 was raised, including income from a cake that was auctioned for TL 550.
At the end of the event, letters of thanks were given to those who contributed.
