Work has begun on the expansion of kervansaray public beach, which is administered by the municipality of Kyrenia. Following the announcement by the mayor of Kyrenia, Murat Şenkul, last week that the western part of the beach would be put into operation in addition to the beach that is currently used as a public beach, work has begun to clean up the beach. A statement on this issue was made by the mayor of Kyrenia Murat Murat Shenkul: "In addition to cleaning the stones on the beach, a new entrance will be made on the west side, a lifeguard tower on that side and parking, everything will be organized in such a way as to provide the best service to the population." Now the beach will be free on the principle of "Beaches belong to people", Shenkul stressed that payment will be charged only from visitors who want to rent sun loungers and umbrellas.
